If you're using Recordik on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these terms.
One human per account. No sharing logins across a team — each person needs a seat.
You're responsible for what happens on your account. If someone else gets your password, we help you recover — but we can't undo what already happened.
You must be 16 or older to use Recordik. Businesses can use it at any age of the legal entity.
You own your content. We don't take any rights to your recordings beyond what we need to store, process, and serve them back to you.
By uploading, you grant us a limited license to host, process, transcribe, and display your content to you and anyone you share it with — and to nobody else.
You promise you have the right to upload whatever you upload. Don't upload content you don't own or don't have permission to share.
Don't use Recordik to harass, stalk, doxx, or defame anyone.
Don't record people without their knowledge in jurisdictions where that's illegal.
Don't upload CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content inciting violence. Ever. We report to authorities immediately.
Don't use Recordik to distribute malware, phishing pages, or illegal content.
Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service beyond rate limits.
If we detect abuse, we suspend first and ask questions after. You can appeal; we respond within 48h.
Quick mode is free forever. No credit card, no watermarks, no time limits.
Pro and Business plans are billed monthly or annually. Annual saves ~17%.
All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified. Local taxes may apply based on billing address.
Upgrades are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next billing period.
Refunds — within 14 days, no questions asked. After 14 days, case-by-case.
Cancel anytime in-product. Your plan runs until the end of the current billing period.
Annual cancellations get a prorated refund if requested within 30 days of cancellation.
After cancellation, your data remains accessible for 30 days, then is permanently deleted.
Free and Pro: best-effort. We aim for 99.9% uptime; no financial SLA.
Business: 99.9% monthly uptime SLA with service credits.
Enterprise: 99.95% monthly uptime SLA with service credits. Custom SLAs available.
Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48h in advance. We target off-peak hours.
The Recordik name, logo, site, software, and design system belong to Recordik, Inc. You can use them under the terms of our brand guidelines (recordik.app/brand) for editorial and product-review use.
You can't use them to imply endorsement, build competing products, or mislead users about the source of something.
Recordik is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it's perfect or that it'll do exactly what you hope.
To the extent legally allowed, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent legally allowed, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Neither of us is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost profits, lost data in scenarios where we followed our published retention policies, etc.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
Disputes first go to binding arbitration in San Francisco; class actions waived.
EU consumers retain any rights they have under local consumer protection law.
We'll announce material changes at least 30 days in advance via email and in-product.
Continuing to use Recordik after changes means you accept them.
